IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay โ The Zamboanga Peninsula can expect partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms Wednesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
Temperatures are forecast to range from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius (75 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit). Winds will be light to moderate from the south to southwest, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
In its 5 a.m. regional forecast, PAGASA said no heavy rainfall warning or thunderstorm advisory was in effect for Mindanao’s Zamboanga Peninsula, which includes Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga City.
The forecast aligns with the national outlook for areas outside those affected by Tropical Storm Maymay and the southwest monsoon. Those weather systems continue to affect parts of Luzon and the western Visayas, bringing heavier rain and stronger winds.
PAGASA said isolated thunderstorms across Mindanao could still trigger flash floods or landslides in flood- and landslide-prone areas during periods of heavy rainfall.

The extended forecast shows about a 20 percent chance of rain for Zamboanga City, with similar temperatures expected through the weekend.
PAGASA advised residents to monitor its official weather bulletins, noting that localized weather conditions can change rapidly.
