Sony is expanding its Pulse lineup with a new addition: the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers. Designed to pair seamlessly with the PS5, PC, Mac, and even the PlayStation Portal or your phone, the Elevate promises what Sony calls “lifelike desktop audio.” They also come with a built-in mic for voice chat and support for the company’s PlayStation Link tech, which cuts down on latency for smoother gaming.
Unlike your typical desktop speakers, the Pulse Elevate doesn’t have to stay tethered to your setup. They pack a rechargeable battery, so you can pick them up and move them around when you want sound somewhere else. When it’s time to juice them back up, they snap onto an included charging dock.
Sony says the speakers will arrive sometime in 2026, with black and white color options. But there’s a catch: the white model will only be around “while supplies last.” The company hasn’t given an exact release date yet, only promising more info in the “coming months.”
The Pulse Elevate slots neatly into Sony’s broader Pulse ecosystem, joining the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and Pulse Elite headset — all aimed at making PlayStation’s audio game a little more premium.
